Hon Toyin Balogun Consoles Odidiomo: Egbon, Your “Bestie” Was Fulfilled as a Father, His Progeny Excelled In His Lifetime

 

The Oyo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Hon Mrs Toyin Balogun has commiserated with the lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency, Hon Dhikirulahi Adedeji Stanley Olajide popularly known as Odidiomo on the demise of father, Alhaji Abdullateef Akin-Tokunbo Olajide who died on Friday.

The Hon Commissioner described the lawmaker’s late father as a pious Muslim who lived and died as a fulfilled father because he lived to see his children excelling in various areas of endeavour in his lifetime.

Hon Toyin Balogun prayed that Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, grants his soul Aljanat Firdaus and grants the extended family he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The condolence message personally signed by her reads:

“From your accounts, your dad was a responsible, loving dad who took utmost care of his family.

“The extent of closeness makes his demise a hard pill to swallow as I can imagine.

However, like I told you both today, you have two key anchors that will enable you to achieve some measure of peace and closure from the yawning void of deep loss, daddy has gone onto a better plane, away from the cares and vagaries of this world and he was very devout and pious Muslim, giving a great measure of comfort that his after life is assured to be even better than that lived in this plane.

“It’s my heartfelt prayer that Allah( SWT) forgive his shortcomings,grant his soul Aljanat Firdaus and grant the extended family he left behind the fortitude to bear an irreparable loss.
