The Lawmaker representing Oluyole State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Waheed Akintayo has congratulated the Chairman/founder of a private radio station, Agidigbo FM, Ibadan, Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat on his graduation from the prestigious University of Ibadan.
The broadcaster turned politician lawmaker, Hon. Waheed Akintayo stated in a congratulatory message he personally signed and made available to journalists in Ibadan that the latest feat attained by Dr Oriyomi Hamzat will serve as a source of motivation for younger generation.
Hon. Akintayo who is the Chairman House Committee on Information, Media, Public Affairs and ICT said Oriyomi’s achievement is a testament to the fact that with determination and a dint of hardworking, there is nothing that anyone cannot achieve while alive.
According to him, “I am very much delighted to rejoice, felicitate and congratulate my dear brother and amiable colleague in broadcast industry, Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat on his graduation from the prestigious University of Ibadan. Dr Hamzat has made tremendous impacts in broadcast industry not only as an on the air personality but also as a founder of one of the most listened to private radio stations in Ibadan, Oyo State.
This feat indeed will serve as a source of inspiration for young people that there is no age limit to achieving one’s goal in life.
Despite the fact that Dr Oriyomi has faced a lot of persecutions and even incarcerated for saying the truth to the powers that be, he has never lost focus or deviated from the path of truth which he believes in.
