    Hon Wole Akinleye Lays Foundation for Construction of Akinyele Youth Forum Multipurpose Hall

    In a momentous event that underscores his commitment to a youth inclusive governance, the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye, yesterday, 8th of May 2025, laid the foundation for the construction of the Akinyele Youth Forum Multipurpose Storey Building. This initiative is a testament to his dedication to fostering a youth-inclusive governance model, reminiscent of the exemplary leadership showcased by his Principal, The Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde.

    The project is designed to serve as a hub for the youth of Akinyele, providing them with resources and opportunities to thrive in today’s competitive environment.

    During the foundation-laying ceremony, Hon Akinwole Akinleye emphasized the importance of utilizing every opportunity available to the youth. He encouraged young individuals to take initiative and engage actively in community development and personal growth. Drawing inspiration from Governor Makinde’s policies, Akinleye reiterated his commitment to ensuring that governance is reflective of the needs and aspirations of the younger generation. His remarks resonated with the attendees, many of whom are passionate about uplifting their communities.

    The event was marked by the presence of various dignitaries, including Members of the Akinyele Legislative Arm Led by the Leader of the House, Hon Kolawole Rafiu KK, Alh. Akande Kehinde( AGEMAWO), Hon Fadare Blessing, Hon Amuda Afeez, Chief(Dr) Moshood Abioye, Hon Sunday Oladipupo, Hon Akeem Yekeen, PDP Ward Youth Leaders led by Pastor Sogo, Akinyele NULGE Chairman, Com Popoola Saheed, The Personal Assistant to the Executive Chairman, Hon Oladimeji Ibrahim, Hon Sharp Sharp, Party Members and Stakeholders Amongst Others. Their attendance not only highlighted the significance of the project but also demonstrated a unified front in support of youth empowerment initiatives. The collaboration among these leaders is crucial for creating an enabling environment for youth development, ensuring that young people have access to the tools and resources necessary for success.

    In their response, The Akinyele Youth Forum members who spoke through their President, Com Paul Olagoke expressed their gratitude towards Hon Akinwole Akinleye for his youth-friendly policies and unwavering support.While appreciating the Executive Chairman for his tremendous contributions towards the Forum, Com Paul Olagoke described his gestures as Historical as the forum has never benefited that much from the Lical Government Leadership in the past. He acknowledged that the construction of the multipurpose building will serve as a vital center for youth activities, fostering creativity, innovation, and collaboration among young people in the Local Government. Com Paul’s remarks reflect a growing sentiment among the youth, who are eager to engage in programs that will enhance their skills and contribute positively to society.

    In conclusion, the foundation-laying ceremony for the Akinyele Youth Forum Multipurpose Storey Building marks a significant milestone in the journey towards youth empowerment in the Akinyele community.
