The 10kW solar project was facilitated by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, under the leadership of Barrister Seun Ashamu.
Oranmiyan Primary Healthcare Center is in Ibadan South East Local Government.
Since commissioning in 2021, it has catered for over 500 patients annually, including more than 200 from the maternity ward.
The provision of reliable and uninterrupted electricity has significantly enhanced health services at Oranmiyan. Importantly, the concern of power outages compromising service quality is now a thing of the past at this PHC.
Oranmiyan is one of 23 of such installations the HE Seyi Makinde led Oyo State Government initiated.
