As part of measures to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy on the motorcycles and tricycles riders and bring succor to the residents in Ona-Ara local government, the Director-General Liaison Office Abuja and Lagos, Hon Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji affectionately referred to as OTOPE will kick start the distribution of fuel palliative to over two hundred motorcycles and tricycles in Ona-Ara local government next week.
According to the Founder of OTOPE Foundation, Hon Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, this initiative is to key into the vision of His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE, Executive Governor of Oyo State to put smile in the faces of Ona-Ara transporters and residents during this period of fuel scarcity.
Commercial motorcycle and tricycle riders are to pick their ticket at OTOPE Foundation Office, Olunloyo in Ona-Ara local government.
The disbursement of the fuel is strictly by ticket while the name of the filling station to get the fuel will be communicated to the beneficiary during the registration.
“Kindly note that all Okada riders that want to benefit should pick their tickets before Tuesday, May 21st, 2024,”OTOPE said.
It will be recalled that OTOPE Foundation recently announced the commencement of the proposed two months free hand-on-training programme on tech skills for the youths and young adult.
The training will kick-off next week Monday 20th May, 2024.
