A member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Mr Enantomhen Andrew has just revealed how he has suffered and laboured for the party for about 20 years and counting.
This comes as Godwin Obaseki of the PDP emerged winner of the Saturday’s gubernatorial election in the State.
Excited Andrew expressed his joy as his party in the State finally emerged the ruling party in Edo State. His statement in other words means that he is now ready to enjoy the fruit of his ‘years of labouring” for PDP.
In his exact words: “I have suffered and labour for PDP for the past 20 years.
Unending joy flows in my vein since my Party PDP wins Edo state.
Been in opposition for 12years.
But today we are in power, am greatfull to God and to the men he places in my Life.
It’s My time and my turn.”
Recall that Godwin Obaseki defected to PDP from APC to contest the September 19 Governorship election in Edo State. He eventually defeated his closest rival, Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu after pulling over 300,000 votes.
