An Ibadan based On-Air-Personality, Ambassador Opeyemi Ayanrinde has spoken on his relationship between him and Speaker of the Oyo 9th Assembly, Rt. Adebo Ogundoyin. In a release signed by him and made available to GOALPOACHER NEWS, said he chooses to work with the people who share similar ideas with him in terms of human development. The state read:
“I, Amb. Opeyemi Ayanrinde popularly known as “Mc Swagger”, a popular professional broadcaster and actor, needs to clear the air regarding the news circulating on social media about my relationship with RT. Hon Adebo Edward Ogundoyin, Oyo State Speaker, and why he chose “Mc Swagger” as the anchor man of all his programs and events.”
“Firstly, I am not a politician, but a professional newscaster, broadcaster and actor. I neither belong to the PDP nor APC family, I am a free man, I belong to everybody, I am the man of the people but to only those who believe in me, my integrity, potentiality, fame and what I stand for. I give my time and devotes my life for those who welcome me around them and need me, politics aside.”
“My relationship with Debo Ogundoyin has nothing to do with politics but trust, loyalty and adaptability to things on ground. “No be juju” kiise ogun rara”, Money is not everything, there are times I do things within my capacity without been paid a penny, there are times I do jobs with compensations.”
“Infact, I need to appreciate him and his mother “Chief Mrs Justina Ogundoyin” for believing in me and their support financially and morally, they are doing well. They have never turned down my requests whenever I walk down to them, in January 2020. Debo Ogundoyin was among the few people around me who stood by me during Fiban National election when I was contesting for the post of National publicity Secretary.
“I was the only aspirant and contestant from the whole Oyo state to at the national level, he supported me financially, also, he offered his advice politically. But, to the glory of God we lost the election, the rest is a long story. But today we are alive, healthy and still moving.”
“I am from Ibarapa, Eruwa precisely, Debo Ogundoyin is also from Eruwa, I think we need to support each other to achieve better goals and objectives. Together we shall move Oyo state, together we shall move Ibarapa to greater height, God help us all.”
