Ibadan Southeast Emerges Best Performing Council in PHC

The Ibadan South East Local Government has been recognized and honoured with the prestigious Award of Best Performing Local Government in Primary Health Care Delivery by Immunization Plus and Malaria Progress by Accelerating Coverage and Transforming Services (IMPACT), in collaboration with the Oyo State Primary Health Care Board.

According to the IMPACT, the award is in recognition of the local government’s outstanding commitment, consistency, and achievements in improving access to quality primary health care services, particularly in the areas of immunization, malaria control, and maternal-child health.

The award presentation, which took place at Oranyan Primary Health Center, was attended by dignitaries and stakeholders in the health sector.

Representing the Executive Chairman, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, was the Chief of Staff, Prince Olusegun Oludaye.

In his speech, Hon. Oludaye affirmed that the award highlights the dedication of Hon. Alawode to grassroots healthcare delivery, and the continuous efforts of his team in ensuring improved health outcomes for the community.

The Leadership of Ibadan South East Local Government appreciates IMPACT and the Oyo State Primary Health Care Board for the honour and reaffirms its commitment to sustaining quality health care for all.

Also present were the Supervisor for Health, Hon. Gbade Adeleke, CDC Chairman, Alhaji Dauda Amolegbe, Chairperson , Vigilante group, Mrs Seyi Adegbite, Director of PHC, Dr. Ogundiran Abdurrahman, Mrs Ayoade Fatiat (MCH), IMPACT Facilitator; Mrs Olasupo Aminat, Health Educator, Mrs Idowu Onikepo, Mrs Omolayo Salami, the  LIO, Mrs Makinde Esther and several others.
