Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has extended his warmest congratulations to the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, on the occasion of his 39th birthday.
Hon. Adepoju, in a statement issued in Abuja through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hassan Olaoniye, described Ogundoyin as a focused and exemplary leader who has persistently sustained unity in the Oyo State House of Assembly since 2019.
The federal lawmaker noted that Ogundoyin, the first two-term Speaker in Oyo State, had presided over the passage of impactful legislation that had tremendously contributed to the growth and development of the state.
Ibarapakan also commended the Assembly under Ogundoyin’s leadership for its consistent support for the policies and programmes of Governor Seyi Makinde over the past seven years, describing the executive-legislative relationship as cordial, productive and beneficial to the overall development of the state.
According to the Ibarapa-born technocrat cum politician, Ogundoyin represents the gains of youth inclusion in governance, having emerged through a bye-election nearly nine years ago and risen to occupy one of the most strategic political offices in the state and the country at large.
The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character wished the Ibarapa-born Speaker renewed strength, greater accomplishments and continued success in his political career.
