Ibarapakan Receives PDP Chairmanship Candidate, Vows to Support Solar’s Ambition

Yesterday, I received my brother, Hon. Sola Adeleke, who is also the chairmanship candidate of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for Ibarapa Central in the 2024 Oyo Local Election.

“Hon. Adeleke had come to commend our various initiatives in our federal constituency and the accessible and open nature of our office, which, according to him, has allowed us to listen to our constituents in addressing some of the most pressing issues at home.

“During the meeting, I assured the chairmanship candidate of our unwavering support, noting that our track record of service in the last six months in the federal constituency will make candidates of our party emerge victorious in the upcoming councilorship and chairmanship elections in the two local government areas of our beloved constituency.

“This will be the first time in recent years that a House of Representatives member in the federal constituency will have this manner of cordial relationship with aspiring administrators of the two local government areas in our constituency, and we are committed to leveraging this rare opportunity to bring true dividends of democracy to our communities after their victories next year by the grace of God and the will of the people of Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Local Government Areas.

“I appreciate Hon. Sola Adeleke’s visit; we need this nature of strong, collaborative relationships between different levels of government for the betterment of our region.

“Also, I sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for giving youths across the state the opportunity to serve not just Oyo State but Nigeria in different positions of government.

“A look at our party’s candidates across the state in the forthcoming election shows that the executive governor of Oyo State has raised the bar of governance, and it is a joy to have such a leader who is showing in every action that young people can be impactful leaders.

“For doing that, he is breaking down barriers and opening the door for future generations to make a lasting positive impact for Nigeria and the world at large.
