The lawmaker, in his Independence Day texts on October 1, 2024, recognised the resilience and patience of Nigerians in the face of adversity and other untold economic challenges, attributing this to the strong commitment of the countrymen and women in the project Nigeria.
The lawmaker seized the occasion of Independence Day anniversary to appreciate constituents in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North for the mandate given to him freely on February 25, 2023, to represent them in the Nigerian House of Representatives. He also highlighted some of his key achievements, including but not limited to infrastructural development, empowerment programmes, educational intervention programmes, job opportunities, accessible representation, scholarship offers, motions and bills, with other infrastructural projects in the works.
Celebrating the country’s 64th independence anniversary, Hon. Oluwaseyi Makinde’s sustainable efforts in providing good education in Oyo State.
The lawmaker remarked that despite the current economic condition of Nigeria, constituents in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency and Nigeria at large still had so much to celebrate.
The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character urged Nigerians to remain steadfast and have faith in the country, adding that the citizens would reap the rewards of their collective sacrifices, ensuring a prosperous future for everyone, including the yet-unborn generations.
