The Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN), ICAN Lagelu and District Society, on Monday, 14th September, 2026, paid a high-powered courtesy visit to the Immediate Past President of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), Arch. Mobolaji Adeniyi, FNIA at her firm, MA & Associates (MAA) in Bodija, Ibadan.
The delegation was led by SWAN Representative of the District, Queen Folasade Ayo-Kumuyi, FCA.
During the visit, a warm and insightful interactive session centred on leadership, professional growth, home front and personal experiences was held.
It was an opportunity for the host, Arch. Mobolaji Adeniyi, FNIA, to share valuable insights on professional and leadership experiences to the admiration of all present.
Members of the delegation asked questions and also exchanged thoughts with the host, making the visit an engaging platform for learning and professional interaction.
As a gesture of appreciation and recognition, the SWAN delegation presented a portrait of Arch. Mobolaji Adeniyi to her. The presentation reflected the Society’s appreciation of her accomplishments, leadership and contributions to her profession and the society.
In return, Arch. Mobolaji Adeniyi presented an autographed copy of her book, Grace-Driven Leadership to the leader of the delegation.
Queen Folasade Ayo-Kumuyi, on behalf of SWAN, ICAN Lagelu and District Society, expressed appreciation to Arch. Mobolaji Adeniyi, FNIA for receiving the delegation and for sharing her experiences and insights with the members.
The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful engagement between accomplished women across the accountancy and architectural professions. The aim is to foster professional relationships, knowledge sharing and learning from the experiences of women who have distinguished themselves in leadership.
Queen Adeniji Victoria, FCA prayed for the host, Queen Olufunke Atiba, ACA gave the vote of thanks, Queen ‘Bunmi Adeyemo, ACA handled the introductions while Queen Julianah Adesina, ACA anchored the programme.
In attendance were, the Immediate Past SWAN Representative of the District, Queen Olukemi Oyewale, FCA, executives and some members of SWAN, ICAN Lagelu and District Society.
