Ido Chairmanship Hopeful, Olatilewa Oladimeji Ayinla Commends Gov. Makinde on New State Party Secretariat
Asiwaju Olatilewa Oladimeji Ayinla has lauded Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde for the completion and donation of the newly built Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state secretariat in Ibadan, describing the development as a “strategic investment” in the party’s organisational strength.
The facility, located on Molete–Oke Ado Road, was commissioned on Tuesday and formally handed over to the party’s national leadership.

The building was constructed and fully furnished by Governor Makinde and named in honour of the late Chief Omokunmi Mustapha, a former PDP state chairman.
In a statement issued after the ceremony, Ayinla described the secretariat as a “milestone achievement” that would reinforce party structures at the grassroots level.

“Governor Makinde has demonstrated uncommon leadership by investing in a physical space that will facilitate party planning, coordination and growth. This secretariat is not just bricks and mortar, it is a beacon of unity and strategic vision for the PDP in Oyo State.”
Speaking further, Ayinla urged party members to leverage the new facility to promote cohesion and discipline within the state chapter.
“At a time when political parties must be strong and united, this edifice gives the PDP a firm foundation on which to build and mobilise ahead of future elections,” he added.
