The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon Sheriff Adeojo on Friday bagged an award of excellence in education development.
The award which was one out of several the chairman had received took place at the council’s secretariat. The award was organized by the management of Western Cross Nigeria, the convener of the epic movie, ‘Moremi Ajasoro’
Speaking at the event, the convener of the group, Mr Akintomiwa said the purpose of the award was to celebrate Hon Adeojo for complimenting the effort of the Makinde led administration in the education sector.
Akintomiwa noted that the council boss has been seen doing all humanly possible for the growth of basic education in Ido.
In his remarks, Hon Sheriff Adeojo reiterated his administration’s readiness to take all- encompassing education policy in the council to a greater level. Adeojo however said government cannot do everything and urged people in and outside the council area to partner government at the grassroots to contribute to the growth of the education in Ido to propel the needed effect on other aspects of human life.
