In a transformative leap toward a brighter and safer community, Alhaji (Hon.) Dhikirullahi Adedeji Olajide Odidiomo, the esteemed House of Representatives member for Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency, has officially begun the installation of 100 solar-powered street lights, in key areas across the constituency.

This momentous initiative is not just about lighting up the streets; it’s about illuminating the path toward a sustainable future for our residents.

The project aims to provide steady and eco-friendly illumination, significantly enhancing safety and visibility during the night.

It addresses a long-standing need for better lighting in our neighborhoods, creating a more secure environment for families, children, and businesses.

By harnessing solar energy, this initiative also demonstrates a commitment to environmental stewardship, reducing our carbon footprint and promoting renewable energy solutions.

Residents are already voicing their gratitude and excitement over this initiative, recognising it as a significant improvement to their daily lives.

“This is a monumental step forward for our community. It not only makes our streets safer but also shows that our representative truly cares about our well-being,” remarked a local business owner.

As Odidiomo continues to fulfill his promises to the people, this project sets the stage for future developments that aim to uplift the constituency.

With the 2027 elections on the horizon, there is a palpable sense of optimism about his leadership and vision.

This initiative is a clear indication of his commitment to creating a better quality of life for all constituents, building a legacy of progress and innovation.
