Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government has canvassed more prayer for the country and our political leaders to help in their leadership roles rather than unnecessary criticisms and fault findings.

Arole Omituntun said this during his congratulatory message to Nigerian on the occasion of the 64th Nigeria Independent celebration, adding that Nigerian should pray more for the leaders seeking for divine intervention to tackle the current economic hardship in the country.

Hon. Alawode, who maintained that better days are coming for Nigeria, urged the citizens to join hands with our political leaders, starting from President Bola Hammed Tinubu at Federal level and all the Government Parastatals, all the State Governors and their Commissioners, most especially, Engr. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and all the 33 Local Government Chairmen, in developing the country as this will continue to fast-track unprecedented development through economic recovery and reintegration in the country.

The council boss then enjoined the citizens to continue to have faith in God, hope for a better time and remain patriotic.
He concluded by praying for peace and stability in the country.
