As Iwajowa Local Government Area prepares to mark three decades of its existence, a fresh message of peace, unity and sustained development has been extended to the people of the area as the council celebrates the milestone.

‎The latest goodwill message of felicitation comes from the Special Assistant to Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, on Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Hon. Akeem Adedibu, who congratulated the people of Iwajowa Local Government Area, the Chairman and the entire leadership of the council on its 30th anniversary.

‎In a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen on Sunday, Adedibu, a former Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly, described the anniversary as a significant milestone in the history of Iwajowa, noting the contributions of the people and successive administrations to the growth and development of the local government.

‎“I warmly congratulate the good people of Iwajowa Local Government Area, as well as the Chairman and the entire leadership of the council, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the creation of our dear local government,” Adedibu said.

‎He noted that the anniversary offered an opportunity for the people to reflect on the progress recorded over the past three decades while renewing their commitment to the peace, unity and continued development of the local government.
‎
‎“On this important occasion, I wish Iwajowa Local Government continued peace, unity and more development. May the council continue to witness meaningful progress and may the people continue to enjoy the dividends of good governance,” he added.

‎The Governor’s aide also extended his goodwill to traditional rulers, political leaders, stakeholders and residents of Iwajowa, expressing optimism that the local government would continue to witness greater development, prosperity and peaceful coexistence in the years ahead.
