Just shortly after I drove passed Iwo road Interchange yesterday afternoon on my way to Magodo, Lagos on a private appointment, my phone rang repeatedly, as it’s not in my tradition to answer calls while on the expressway, but, for the caller’s persistence, I slow down near First Technical University area established by Fmr., Erudite Oyo State Gov., Abiola Ajimobi of blessed memory to picked up the female Journalist with a private station in Ibadan.

‘ Nibo lowa Awon omo PMS Auxiliary tin yin ibon ni Baba Onilu o , ma drive gba ona iwo road o, enikan ti ku o’

‘Where are you, Auxiliary boys are shooting at Baba Onilu/Iwo road, don’t drive towards the area , one person reportedly killed already’

I was depressed, Sad . What can we call this in a state that, has authority at Agodi Government house?

The caller has not dropped, have had five different caller’s on waiting call , among whose was my wife, i cherry picked only my wife phone call, curious to hear from her, she called for similar purpose that, hope am already on my way to Lagos that, a dead body at IDI APE with many protester’s are now heading towards Civic center area via Governor’s office she guessed.

I didn’t bother returning other caller’s call, switched to WhatsApp Platforms , there I hurriedly found videos of the barbaric act . Was mindful being on the Ibadan/Lagos expressway alone in the car , I had to switched off my phone to continue driving to my destination

Unfortunate Iwo Road mayhem yesterday claimed life of a young man ( Rahmon Azeez), killed allegedly by PMS men …Permit me to say condolence to deceased family.

Many were injured…The magnitude of destruction, deliberate looting of valuables, Mobile phone’s worth million’s of naira especially, small scale business ventures is not only sad but, demonstration that, bringandage, hooliganism has now been licencesd in Oyo State.

Beyond partisanship normenclature, Governor Seyi Makinde would & should be decisive for once as Oyo State is now turning to Mogadishu, Somalia. One day, One mayhem.

Objectively, there is no crime free society across the globe but, Oyo State bringandage is self creation of the authority and Only Governor Seyi Makinde could stop this banana republic episode.

Governor Seyi Makinde has not demonstrated to Oyo State people he has not surrendered the state to characters, charlatans, if not, by now , Oyo State Commissioner of Police should have invited, interrogated & detained those alleged to have supervised killings and looting of phones of Innocent business men just on account of argument of parking space of Micra driver and access to complex at Iwo road Interchange yesterday afternoon.

It’s never in my character to be abusive especially to authorities, I am more interested in Oyo State that , would work for us all however, Governor Makinde should as a matter of urgency see to menace immediate past Government of Ex-Gov AJIMOBI has well managed for 8years.

Oba to je ti Ilu Toro , Oba to je ti Ilu daru, omo ara aiye koni gba GBE won o.

Governor Seyi Makinde, please, rise up. Oyo State koni baje. Amin.

    To be continued.
    Fatai Adesokan
    APC Member, Oyo State.
