Hon Abideen Adetokunbo Adeaga has congratulated Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for his recognition and conferment of one of the highest chieftaincy titles on him by paramount ruler of Ondo Kingdom.
Oba Victor Adesimbo the Osamowe of Ondo Kingdom on Friday installed the Oyo State Governor as the Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom in commemoration of the Monarch’s 70th birthday and 17th coronation anniversary.
Hon Adeaga described the Chieftaincy title as well deserved and pointed that Governor Seyi Makinde has demonstrated being a true son of Yoruba land and his selfless service and love for the people of the South-West zone has been remarkable.
The PDP Chieftain said It is not surprising for the first class monarch to deem it fit to confer this rare chieftaincy title on a distinguished and amiable leader and omoluabi pataki in Yorubaland.
Adeaga added that Makinde has been an icon of good governance and has distinguished himself as patriotic, dedicated, committed and dogged humanitarian, philanthropist and man of the people who has changed the narrative of people at the grassroot.
