A group canvassing for good governance and new dawn in Oyo State, Oyo Development Network (ODN), has commended the former local government chairperson of Olorunsogo local government, Hon Akani Juliana Momopewa for mobilizing hundreds of women from Igbeti in Olorunsogo local government to declare support for the gubernatorial ambition of Jubril Dotun Sanusi.
In a remarkable display of support, Alhaja Akani Juliana Momopewa on Friday rallied a powerful coalition of women in Olorunsogo to declare unwavering allegiance to Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oloye Jubril Dotun Sanusi.
The mobilization is a reflection of the growing popularity of Sanusi as a gubernatorial hopeful in 2027.
According to Oyo Network for Development, while commending Hon Akani Juliana Momopewa and others, the group pointed out that the Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort CEO is a philanthropist who has touched many people’s lives positively through his various humanitarian activities.
The group also recalled that aside empowering the youths with the establishment of sports academy, Engr Sanusi further boosted the prestige of Oyo State as a Pacesetter State with electric bus, tricycles among others.
