Residents of Jericho Hill GRA and adjoining communities in Ibadan have expressed profound appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for the reconstruction of the FRIN–Aleshinloye Road, describing the project as a major intervention that has improved accessibility and enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the area.
In a letter addressed to the governor and signed by the Chairman of the Jericho Hill GRA Residents’ Association, Ven. Adewale Sanda, the residents lauded the Oyo State Government for undertaking the reconstruction of the strategic road, which serves as a major access route to several communities including Jericho, Aleshinloye, Idi-Ishin, Forest Hill Estate and other adjoining areas.
The association noted that the project has significantly improved the environment and eased movement within the affected communities.
The residents also commended the contractor handling the project, Quickborn Nigeria Limited, for its professionalism and responsiveness throughout the execution of the work.
According to the letter, the contractor’s team maintained a cordial relationship with residents, listened to their concerns and ensured that the project was carried out with minimal inconvenience despite the challenges associated with working on the only major access road serving several estates and communities.
The association acknowledged the efforts of the contractor and its staff for their commitment to delivering the project successfully.
The residents further pledged their continued support and cooperation with the state government in areas that would contribute to the development and improvement of Oyo State.
They wished Governor Makinde continued success in the administration of the state and reaffirmed their appreciation for the road project, which they described as impactful and beneficial to the people.
The letter concluded with prayers for the progress of Oyo State and Nigeria.
