There was a wave of joy and excitement in Ward 8, Isale Oba community, as residents came out in large numbers to welcome Hon. Olusola Adeleke, the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central, who marked the commencement of a much-needed bridge project in the area.

The new bridge will link all the farm settlements, villages, and schools to the town.

The previous bridge structure, which had served the community for over 40 years, had collapsed and remained unrepaired, posing significant challenges for the residents.

Hon. Olusola Adeleke, accompanied by members of the legislative arm and the executive council, took a bold step to initiate the construction of the new bridge, which is vital for the community’s transportation and daily activities.

In a statement, Hon. Olusola Adeleke highlighted the importance of the bridge to the local economy and the well-being of the residents. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the project’s timely completion and adherence to the highest standards.

“This bridge is not just a structure; it is a lifeline for the people of Isale Oba. I am determined to see this project through to completion, and I promise that it will be done to the best standards, serving this community for many years to come,” said Hon. Adeleke.

Alhaji Adeyemo, a local resident, expressed the community’s gratitude to Hon. Adeleke, acknowledging the challenges they had faced since the old bridge collapsed.

“This is a dream come true for us,” he said. “We have waited for this moment for so long. Hon. Olusola Adeleke has shown that he truly cares about our needs, and we are very thankful.”

Mr. Salawu Mukaila Agbaakin added, “This project will change our lives. We are grateful to Hon. Adeleke for remembering us and taking action where others have not. This bridge will bring new opportunities and ease our daily struggles.”

The commencement of this project marks a significant milestone in Hon. Olusola Adeleke’s administration, reflecting his dedication to addressing the critical infrastructure needs of the communities in Ibarapa Central.

The project is expected to bring immediate benefits to the people of Isale Oba and set the tone for further development initiatives under his leadership.
