A renowned philanthropist and the CEO of Ilaji Hotel and Resorts in Oyo State, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has extended heartfelt congratulations to workers across Nigeria in celebration of Workers’ Day.

This year’s celebration resonates deeply with Sanusi, who emphasised the critical role that workers play in the nation’s development.

In a statement released on May 1st, Sanusi said, “Today, we honour the diligent efforts and sacrifices of workers who are the backbone of our economy. Their hard work and commitment are vital for the progress and prosperity of our nation.”

Sanusi highlighted the importance of recognising and upholding workers’ rights, saying, “Every worker deserves fair treatment, decent wages, and a safe working environment.”

“It is imperative that we advocate for policies that protect these rights and promote social justice,” he stated.

The philanthropist also called for unity among workers, urging that: “As we celebrate this special day, let us remember that together, we can achieve more. Solidarity is our strength, and we must support one another in the pursuit of better working conditions and opportunities.”

Sanusi reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that empower workers and improve their livelihoods.

“At Ilaji Hotel and Resorts, we are dedicated to creating job opportunities and fostering an environment where our employees can thrive. We believe that investing in our workforce is investing in the future of our community,” he added.

Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, however, reiterated the need for sustainable dialogue between employers and employees in the country.
