Nigerians have been advised to shun politics of bitterness, stop pursuing personal aggrandisement instead peace, progress, unity and stability of our nation should be paramount to us all.
The advice was given by the Caretaker Chairman of Omi-Apata Local Council Development Area, Hon Sheriff Adeojo as he congratulates Nigerians on the year 2020 Democracy Day celebration which coincides with the annulment of June 12, 1993 election.
You will recall that President Muhammadu Buhari has changed Democracy Day celebration which was formerly on 29th May now 12th June to honour the acclaimed winner of the June 12, 1993 election, Chief MKO Abiola.
Hon Sheriff Adeojo admonished every citizen of this country not to allow selfish interest to overide national interest in order to have democracy of our dream.
