JUST IN: Supreme Court Reserves Judgment on Atiku’s Application Seeking To Present Fresh Evidence
The Supreme Court, on Monday, reserved judgment on the application of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, to present fresh documents to support his appeal.
The fresh documents are President Tinubu Bola’s academic records obtained from the Chicago State University.
The Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, have arrived at the Supreme Court.
Others include the National Security Adviser of Nigeria, Nuhu Ribadu and the acting National Chairman of the PDP, Umar Damagum, among others.
The apex court would hear the appeals of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar; the Labour Party’s Peter Obi; and the Allied Peoples Movement, seeking the court to nullify President Bola Tinubu’s victory.
