The chairman of the Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board (OYSHMB),Dr Akin Fagbemi had a one on one interactive session with the drug suppliers on the programme of Drug Credit Purchasing Scheme of OYSHMB on how to improve the supply chain and how to make the programme works better for both the state government and the suppliers .The meeting was held at the office of the chairman of the board ,state secretariat,Ibadan.
Dr Fagbemi urged the drug suppliers to the board to key into the agenda of his excellency Engr Oluseyi Makinde in delivering good and qualitative health care system to all the citizen of the state under sustainable health care programme tagged “Omi-Tuntun 2.0”.
The chairman reassured the suppliers that the board will look at the main issues affecting the supply chain into our various facilities in the state.
He therefore stated that the board will do its own part by representing the government and the citizen at large while urging the suppliers to play their own role in representing their various company.
The meeting was well attended by the Director of Pharmaceutical services in the board, Pharmacist Ganiyu Adebayo and the Drug Suppliers to the board.
