The Senator for Oyo South District at the National Assembly, Dr. Mohammed Kola Balogun has felicitated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of Ramadan despite the pandemic and the social distancing challenges.
According to the statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Senator Balogun was quoted as saying; “we should all be grateful to God for our lives and good healths, particularly due to the terror of Covid 19. I want to also appreciate our Muslim Ummah for their patience and cooperations with government directives on public worships, hygiene practices and social distancing. Let’s use the occasion of the Eid El Ftri to pray for the state and quick end to the pandemic.”
We know God shall answer our prayers and we shall soon resume to our usual ways but until then, I implore us to continue in our compliance with Government and task force directives.
