The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji, popularly known as KSA, has continued his grassroots engagement across Ido Local Government Area with a visit to Akowo Communities in Ward 2.
During the visit, Hon. Adedeji held an interactive meeting with community members, leaders and other stakeholders, creating an opportunity for direct engagement and discussions on issues affecting the development and wellbeing of the people.
A major highlight of the visit was the reception of members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who formally defected to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
Welcoming the new members into the party, KSA expressed appreciation for their decision to join the APM and urged them to remain committed to unity, progress and the collective development of the people.
The community members also used the occasion to present some of their pressing needs and development priorities. Among the requests made were building blocks, cement and solar-powered street lights to support infrastructure and improve living conditions within the communities.
Responding to the requests, Hon. Adedeji donated 1,000 blocks, 30 bags of cement and solar-powered street lights to support ongoing and future community development efforts.
He also provided financial assistance to members of the communities at the end of the meeting as part of his continued support for the people at the grassroots.
The interventions were received with appreciation by residents and community stakeholders, who described the visit as a demonstration of KSA’s willingness to engage directly with the people and respond to their identified needs.
Residents of the Akowo Communities pledged to intensify efforts to sensitise other members of their communities about the Allied Peoples Movement and mobilise support for Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The visit ended on a memorable note as community members offered prayers for KSA, asking God to grant him guidance, protection, wisdom and continued success in all his endeavours.
The latest engagement further underscores Hon. Kolawole Sheu Adedeji’s continued grassroots consultations and community outreach across Ido Local Government and the wider Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency.
The visit also reflects his campaign’s emphasis on direct engagement, responsiveness to community needs and people-centred representation.
