As friends, associates and admirers celebrate the birthday of one of Nigeria’s foremost advocates of humanitarian service and community development, I join millions of well-wishers to honour an exceptional leader, mentor and benefactor, Kunle Yusuff, MON, whose life continues to inspire hope and transform countless lives across the country.
Today is not merely a celebration of another year in your life; it is a celebration of a man whose generosity, humility and unwavering commitment to the growth of others have earned him admiration far beyond the circles of those privileged to know him personally.
Your life has remained a shining example that true leadership is measured not by titles or influence, but by the number of lives positively impacted.
”You have become a beacon of hope to countless young Nigerians. Your life has demonstrated that true leadership is about lifting others, opening doors of opportunity and inspiring people to believe in their dreams. I am proud to celebrate a man whose generosity knows no bounds,” Segun Kehinde said.
As the Director-General of the Civil Society Organizations on Community Advancement and Humanitarian Empowerment Initiatives (CSCHEI), you have continued to provide visionary leadership that strengthens civil society engagement, promotes humanitarian causes and advances community development across Nigeria. Through your various initiatives, you have remained a dependable voice for national progress and sustainable development.
Your contributions extend beyond civil society. As the Director-General of Merited Negotiating, the body responsible for coordinating Nigeria’s participation in activities relating to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), and as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Negotiations and Community Development, you have continued to champion dialogue, peace building, capacity development and strategic partnerships for national growth.
Your role as Consultant to the House of Representatives on Nigeria-China Bilateral Relations further demonstrates the confidence reposed in your wealth of experience and commitment to strengthening international cooperation for the benefit of our dear nation.
”Your contributions to national development continue to speak for themselves. Whether through humanitarian service, negotiations, community development or international engagements, you have consistently distinguished yourself as a patriotic Nigerian committed to building a better nation,” he stated.
Your passion for nation building is also evident in your efforts as Convener of the National Summit of Civil Society Organizations and Community Based Organizations. The successful Southern Regional Summit held in Lagos and the forthcoming National Summit in Abuja are clear reflections of your determination to build stronger partnerships capable of driving grassroots development and inclusive governance.
Beyond these impressive accomplishments, I celebrate you for the countless young men and women whose lives you have transformed through your kindness, mentorship and selfless support.
You have consistently opened doors of opportunities for many, believing in people when others doubted them and lifting them to greater heights without seeking recognition.
For many of us, you are more than a leader. You are a dependable benefactor, a compassionate father figure and a mentor whose words of encouragement and acts of generosity have changed destinies. Your willingness to invest in the future of younger generations remains one of your greatest legacies.
