    Late Oba Olakulehin’s Reign was Short but Impactful – Ibadan Southeast LG Boss Mourns

    The Executive Chairman of Ibadan Southeast local government, Hon Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode has commiserated with Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, the people of Ibadanland and Oyo State at large over the demise of the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, saying the monarch would be greatly missed.

    Hon Alawode, in a condolence message stated that though the monarch’s reign was short, it was peaceful and impactful.

    The council boss declared that the late monarch brought unprecedented developments to Ibadanland and facilitated great progress during the short period.

    “We appreciate greatly, the contributions of the late Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin to peaceful coexistence among the people of Oyo State and for serving as a true custodian of the Yoruba culture during his short but eventful reign.

    Hon Alawode added that the monarch was a man of many parts who brought his experience in different aspects of life to bear on development in the city of Ibadan and Oyo State in general.

    “May the Almighty God grant all the fortitude to bear this loss,” Amen.
