Selection processes always involve rigorous assessment through surveys of performance indicators. His Excellency, Governor Abiodun Oluseyi Makinde, surpass all. Kudos to the Best Perfomed Governor, who emerged against all odds, without an inch of doubt.
The survey by the Nigeria Social Media Week Group (NSG), to rank the people’s governor, as the most loved and most admired governor, was based on the humanity considerations and rewarding governance of the Governor. Truly, his equal is rare.
The key reasons for ranking Governor Seyi Makinde as the Best Governor of the year 2023 was clearly based on the love of the people, who have already tagged him as the People’s Governor, his humane contribution towards development of people and his positive impactful contribution to the state at large.
True governance is by rewarding people with dividend of government and by putting smiles on the people.
Regardless of the economic situation in Nigeria as of today, Oyo State people are happy because enabling environmental conditions are put in place by the Governor for the people to do their businesses while security of lives and properties are put in priority factors of the Governor.
Governor Seyi Makinde, “A Man with Infrastructural Ideas”. The Governor’s kin and interest to provide infrastructures in every nook and cranny of the state is undoubtedly true spirit of good governance.
We have a Governor whose interest in the wellbeing of the citizens is so unrelentless and uncomparable.
The spirits of our Fathers, the accestors of Oyo State, raised Governor Seyi Makinde, to put end to the yearnings of the people.
At this rate that the governor is performing, definitely, Oyo State will be at a race with the likes of Europe, United States of America, and Dubai, in terms of Infrastructure and Economic Development.
