The Chairman of Oyo East Local Government Area, Prince Saheed Arowosaye has commended Oyo state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for completing the remodelling of the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba Ibadan in record time.
Arowosaye gave the commendation during a chat with newsmen in Oyo town ahead of Wednesday’s formal opening of the sports complex. He said the Governor is turning the state around in a remarkable fashion with his giant strides.
” His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde has continued to raise the bar of governance in the state higher with his massive infrastructural renewal across every nook and cranny of the state. He has not left any sector and any part of the state untouched in his quest to transform the state. Look around everywhere in the state, we are witnessing rapid development on a scale never seen before in the history of the state. This is focused governance, executed with precision” he said.
“The governor is a hard worker, an achiever that never rests, all he thinks about all the time is how to improve the state and with the successful remodelling of the Lekan Salami Sports Complex and other sports facilities across the state that are receiving a facelift, he is sending a strong message that youth development is an integral part of his vision. He is creating opportunities for the young people in the state to realise their dreams of becoming world-class athletes. We are proud of what the Governor has done so far in such a short time and I am confident that he is planning to do even more than he has done already” he said.
The Chairman said the people of Oyo state made the right decision by electing the Governor and he has continued to surpass expectations.
