… Otunba Seye Famojuro to Flag-off Campaign on Sunday
The Campaign Committee for the re-election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairmanship candidate in Egbeda local government, Hon and Vice-chairmanship candidate, Hon Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, on Friday held an extraordinary meeting as part of preparations for the flag-off coming up on Sunday 10th March, 2024.
The Committee Director General, Hon Olasunkanmi Babalola,while meeting with sub-committee chairmen discussed a number of issues highlighted towards having a remarkable event.
At the meeting which had in attendance the vice- Chairmanship candidate, Hon Ola Oladebo Ibrahim Simple, all issues bothering on mobilization of party members, security, venue decoration and others were fruitfully discussed.
Hon Simple used the meeting to donate the sum of five hundred thousand Naira (N500,000) as the first major boost towards achieving the historical flag off .
The committee decided to make the flag-off clearly epochal,
considering the fact that the Chairmanship candidate of the party, Hon Sikiru Oyedele Sanda is the Oyo state ALGON Chairman.
According to the campaign council, Hon Sanda has recorded astounding and unprecedented achievements that threw him up for another term in office .
Expected at the Egbeda Local Government flag-off campaign are top notch political Juggernauts from the entire Oyo state.
Research ,Media and Publicity Committee has assured that all hands are on deck to ensure a hitch free flag off on Sunday as the state would begin to see the campaign Committee unfolds a series of programmes designed for the day.
At the meeting ,the various party Chairmen from all the wards were handed over bundles of Ankara wax to celebrate the occasion.
This is among other souvenirs, covering TShirts, caps and other materials already stocked for both the guests and party members who are in high spirit for the flag- off.
The ally of Governor Seyi Makinde, Otunba Seye Famojuro, whose political base is in Egbeda is the chairman of the Advisory Council committee of Sanda/Simple Egbeda 2024 Campaign Committee and he is expected to flag-off the campaign.
