The People’s Democratic Party’s Candidate in Ibarapa Central Local Government , Hon. Sola Adeleke on Monday, 8th April 2024 stormed Wards 5 and 7 of the local government in a grand style.
As the campaign train passed through the Igboora old garage enrout Igbole, the campaign witnessed mammoth crowd of party faithfuls and well-wishers.
The Director General of the campaign team, Mr Yemi Atilola in his opening remarks, commended the people of Igbole/Iberekodo/Pako/Saganun and Ogboja for the huge support given to his party ever since the emergence of the party’s anointed candidate in person of Sola Adeleke and other councilorship candidates. He urged them to go out enmass and vote massively for Sola Adeleke and all the PDP Counselors in the coming local government election. He further appreciate Elder John Ogunrin for leading all APC members who defected to PDP and commend his good work.
Mr gbade Akinlolu, the PDP Chairman in Ibarapa Central Local Government pledged and appeal to the good people of ward 5 to vote for Sola Adeleke for continuity of good governance come this month 2024. He equally appreciate ward 7 as a ward that has highest votes during last election, he thank them and pledge for more votes during local government election.
Party leaders who addressed the crowd one after the other include Elder Tijani Salawu, Chief Salau Olaoye, Hon. Rufai Azeez Oladejo welcome all party members, admonished and appealed to them to vote People’s Democratic Party on 27th of April for continuity of the good work of the Oyo State Governor, Eng. Seyi Makinde.
Responding on behalf of Ward 7, Mr. Azeez assured the party that the ward will deliver again like they did during last general election.
In a separate interview, a former Party Chairman, Hon Sola fakorede appreciate the good people of ward 5 & 7 for the massive turn out to welcome Hon Sola Adeleke and his winning team. He assured that Hon Sola Adeleke is a man to trust, especially in times of adversity and uncertainty. He knows what people cared for, He valued and understood what are the concerns of his people. He is a leader, with the greatest qualities and with the authentic concern for the lives of those he wants to lead.
One of the party leaders in the state, Elder Kolawole Salako (Great mother) appreciate party Representatives across the state for sailing boat of People’s Democratic Party to the land of success in Ibarapa central local government and for given the people the right man at the right time.
In his reaction, the flagbearer, Hon Sola Adeleke thanked the people of wards 5&7 for the unwavering supports, and revealed his vision and mission at the campaign ground.
According to Adeleke:
“My administration will focus on agriculture, education, road projects, security and all other infrastructures needed to develop and take Ibarapa central to the next level.
“My administration shall be open to all ideas and will be accessible to all”.
Another party leader, Elder Eyinade rounded off the event with appreciation note, and solicited support for Hon Adeleke.
