The chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogbomoso South, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy, OOT on Friday took his campaign to five communities in the council area.
Recall that Hon Oyedokun who is the Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso South local government flagged-off his campaign on Thursday with ward to ward campaign.
The party’s flag bearer alongside his campaign team headed by Hon Amusan Damilare visited other wards which include, Ijeru1, Ijeru2, Lagbedu, Ilogbo and Arowomole.
While addressing residents who trooped out to welcome the PDP, Hon Oyedokun urged the communities to embrace continuity noting that if reelected in the April poll, he would continue the community empowerment scheme he embarked upon in his first term.
Some of the residents, landlord associations among others described Hon Oyedokun as the best chairman in the history of Ogbomoso South owing to his sterling performance which cut across different sectors in the council.
They declared that OOT is their worthy son and pledged to rally round him for his electoral victory in April.
“My campaign team again visited wards like Ijeru1, Ijeru2, Lagbedu, Ilogbo, and Arowomole in Ogbomoso South.
“We engaged with party members, rallying support from PDP members and the public.
“As we press forward, our dedication to grassroots engagement and community empowerment remains steadfast, ensuring a prosperous future for Ogbomoso South.
