LG Poll: Ibadan North PDP Chairmanship Candidate, Olufade, Ends Ward-to-Ward Campaign in Grand Style

 

Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, the PDP Chairmanship Candidate for Ibadan North local government, concluded his ward-to-ward campaign yesterday in his primary Constituency, Ward 8.

Olufade’s campaign train, led by his campaign director-general, Falana Adebowale, was received amidst an intimidating crowd, demonstrating that the candidate truly has the backing of his primary constituency in Ward 8.

A stakeholders’ meeting was held at Ijokodo, where leaders from different communities were present to voice their demands to the PDP chairmanship candidate.

Several demands were made, including roads, security, healthcare, quality education for their wards, and a host of other dividends of democracy.

In his speech, the lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 2, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, urged the electorate to come out en masse to vote for the PDP chairmanship and councillorship candidates on April 27, 2024.

Hon. Babajide expressed confidence in Oluwaseun Olufade’s ability to elevate Ibadan North Local Government to greater heights.

Hon. Babajide assured constituents that he will continue to represent them well and continue to bring the dividends of democracy to their doorstep.

In his speech, Hon. Akoro, the Sole Administrator of Shooting Stars of Ibadan, who also doubles as the Ibadan North Federal Constituency campaign coordinator, thanked residents for their turnout and assured them of the PDP’s continuous quality representation.

The PDP chairman in Ibadan North Local Government, Prince Adelore, thanked all the leaders, party members, and executives for their show of love and solidarity.

He expressed appreciation for their support from the day of the flagoff until the last day of the ward-to-ward campaign.

He prayed for positive rewards for them and urged them to continue canvassing support for the PDP chairmanship candidate and all the councillorship candidates in the April 27 election.

The Ward 8 leadership and committee led by the incumbent councilor, Hon. Ogunkeyede yemisi, awarded a number of individuals for their contributions to the party’s development.

These individuals include: Ademola Omotosho, Mogaji Adanla, Hon. Akeem Egbende, Hon. Babajide Gabriel, Hon. Adelore, Hon. Julian Nwachuku, Mr Adewumi Adeagbo, Hon. Jossy Oladapo, Hon. Felicia Ajuwon, Mama Kasumu, Alhaji Rasaq Ademola, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle Don, Hon. Michael Ogunsina, Hon. Akoro, Hon. Kazim Adeniyi Bibire, Alhaji Lukman Agboluaje, Hon. Awoleye Dada, Baba Ashipa, Hon. Mustapha (Vice Chairman), and Hon. Kolawole.

In his speech, the PDP chairmanship candidate, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, expressed appreciation to all stakeholders, leaders, party executives, party members, and residents for their unwavering show of love. Olufade introduced his Vice, Akeem Ayoade, and the councillorship candidate representing the people of Ward 8, Honourable Seye, promising to work collaboratively with them to elevate Ibadan North to greater heights.

He assured stakeholders and community leaders present that he would address all their demands when he assumes the position of executive chairman of Ibadan North Local Government.

He requested their prayers for his success in leading Ibadan North Local Government to the pinnacle of development.
