The Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye has commended the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) and security agents over the peaceful conduct of the ongoing local government elections.
The PDP leader gave the commendation in an interview with Goalpoacher News after casting his vote at Ward 5, Unit 4 Polling unit, Iresaadu Primary School, Surulere local government.
Barrister Olaleye commended residents of Iresadu and environs for conducting themselves in a peaceful manner as voting commenced in earnest.
“You can see that our people are law-abiding and peace-loving, the turn out has been impressive.
“OYSIEC should be commended for the quick delivery of voting materials at various polling units.
“Security agents are also performing their duties professionally.”
