The Onpetu of Ijeru land, Oba Sunday Oyediran Olagbemi Osekun 111 has showered his royal blessing on the chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ogbomoso South, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy OOT.
This was as OOT who is the Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso South paid a courtesy call on the monarch in his palace.
The purpose of the courtesy call was to consult with the traditional ruler and seek his royal blessing ahead of the local government elections coming up in April.
“We Met with our father, Oba Sunday Oyediran Olagbami Osekun III, the Onpetu of Ijeru land, for royal consultations and prayers.
“He emphasized the importance of free, fair, credible, transparent, and acceptable elections.
“Baba urged us to avoid letting politics or personal ambitions disrupt the established unity accord in Ogbomoso South.
“He blessed my candidacy for a second term, emphasizing the need to uphold unity and ensure a balanced approach to governance.
“Grateful for his guidance and support in fostering a positive political environment.”
