In appreciation of the generous donation received from Honorable Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi (AROSAD), the Chairman of all the Ward Chairmen in Oyo East Local Government, representing the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Honorable Kolade Lukuman, on behalf of his colleagues, extends gratitude to the Party Chairmanship candidate, Honorable Oluokun Peter Olusola, his Vice, Honorable Wasiu Mustapha Waspha, as well as all the Councillorship candidates and the Campaign Team, led by its Director General, Alhaji Rasheed Agba.
Special appreciation is also expressed to the Local Government Party Chairman, Honorable Sakiru Ojo, and the current Executive Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, for their support in executing the campaign program that was launched on Tuesday with the receipt of a cash donation of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500,000) from Honorable AROSAD.
During the general meeting of the PDP on Monday, Honorable Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi announced his personal donation of Five Hundred Thousand Naira to the Oluokun/Waspha campaign council, which was promptly handed over to the Local Government Party Chairman, Honorable Sakiru Ojo, and subsequently to the Campaign Team.
Honorable Sakiru Ojo urged supporters to come out in large numbers to ensure the success of the PDP Chairmanship and Councilorship candidates in Oyo East Council area.
In a democratic gesture of appreciation, Honorable Kolade Lukuman, speaking on behalf of the Oyo East Ward Chairmen, emphasized that this contribution fosters unity, team spirit, internal cohesion, and collective responsibility towards achieving victory for the PDP in the upcoming Local Government election.
He commended the courage and team spirit of Honorable Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi AROSAD and expressed gratitude for the donation, promising to do more to support the campaign.
Kolade confirmed that the sum has been received by all the Ward Chairmen to support the campaign committee at the ward level, ensuring a landslide victory for all the candidates. He reassured that the funds would be used according to the campaign council’s itinerary.
The primary focus remains on securing the success of Oluokun/Waspha, and efforts will be intensified with house-to-house campaigning to secure victory at the unit and ward levels.
AROSAD has also pledged continued support and expressed readiness to actively participate in the campaign.
