As part of the ongoing grassroots tour, Hon. Adewusi Adegbola commended Hon.Aikomo Emmanuel Olufemi, FCA for the ward grassroots tours, Hon.Aikomo who was accompanied by Afijio Vice Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Tajudeen Aderemi Adegoke, led PDP leaders and stalwarts from wards 1 to 10 throughout the week to solicit support for his election success ahead of the April 27, 2024, LG Election.
Hon. Olufemi Aikomo maintained throughout his ward tours that Gov. Seyi Makinde and his legacies have become obligatory to sustain good governance and protect against jealousy.
According to Aikomo, the ward-to-ward tour of the entire Afijio allowed him to directly connect with voters on a personal level while addressing their concerns and reeling out his economic development agenda as well as gaining valuable feedback.
It was also gathered that by taking his time to tour each ward in Afijio LG, Aikomo has demonstrated his commitment to the development of the local government and equally displayed his dedication to serving his people if elected.
