Following his emergence at the local government’s polls conducted on Saturday, April 27, the Chairman-Elect, Iwajowa Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Hon. Muritala Abiodun Oyewumi fondly called ‘Natural’ has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to God almighty, Governor Seyi Makinde, Deputy Governor, Barrister Adebayo Lawal, PDP State Executive Members, ex Oyo Commissioner for Budget & Planning, Asiwaju Barr. John Adeniyi Farinto, SA to the Governor on Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency, PDP leaders and youths in Iwajowa, Traditional Council of Obas & Chiefs in Iwajowa LG, the security outfits and entre people of the council area among others.
The Chairman-Elect, extended this gratitude in a release which he personally signed and made available to newsmen.
According to him, “with a very deep sense of gratitude to Almighty Allah, the Lord of the worlds I, Hon. Muritala Abiodun Oyewumi (Natural) really wish to express my sincere appreciation to our dear leader and benefactor, the Executive Governor of Oyo State Engr. (Dr) Seyi Abiodun Makinde FNSE for giving us the avenue to be part of his success story as far as the growth and development of our dear Oyo State is concerned”.
“Much specially, it is necessary to appreciate the leadership of our great party, PDP at the state level for the much needed support since the beginning of the struggle as a Chairmanship Candidate until the declaration of result.
Specially, I must honestly appreciate our leader and father, Asiwaju Barr. John Adeniyi Farinto for setting us on the pedestal to be one of leaders of tomorrow with growth and development of their citizens in mind”.
