The House of Representatives candidate of Accord Party in 2023 election and former Chairman of Surulere North LCDA, Honourable Sarafadeen Olatunji Muhammed has returned to PDP with his numerous supporters.
Honourable Olatunji-Muhammed who contested house of Representatives election under Accord Party in 2023 election was received into PDP today by PDP leaders in Surulere Local Government.
Barr. Olasunkanmi Olaleye, the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development told the decampees that they are welcomed into PDP which is a home to all politicians with Democratic spirits and there will be no discrimination against new decampees into the party.
He charged them to work assiduously for the success of the party in the local government election coming up on Saturday, saying that Governor Makinde has made winning the election easy with his outstanding performance in the last five years.
Before now, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye and other PDP leaders had extended open arms and made overtures to notable opposition members in Surulere local government urging them to join the ruling party in the state.
