    LGSPB Chairman, Akeem Ige, Permanent Secretary Bag Honorary Fellows of CPIN

    The Chairman and Permanent Secretary of the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board , Hon Akeem Ademola Ige and Alhaji Lukman Akinola Muraina respectively have bagged Honorary fellows of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria ( CPIN).

    In his opening remarks at the 2024 Investiture/ Induction Ceremony of New Fellows and Associates, the Executive Secretary of the Institute, Dr Samson Akinyemi said the duo had satisfied the prescribed conditions for membership and this considered them as Honourary Fellows of the Institute. He stated further that it was in recognition of their immense contributions to the development of Pension Administration and Employees Welfare.


    In his appreciation speech, Hon Akeem Ademola Ige acknowledged that His Excellency, Engr Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde’s unprecedented achievements in terms of pensioners’ welfare cannot be over emphasized which culminated into the recognition and award as Honorary Fellow of Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria ( CPIN).

    He therefore dedicated the award to Governor Seyi Makinde and the entire members of staff of the Board for their commitment and dedication to duties.

    The special Investiture/ Induction Ceremony which took place in the conference room of Local Government Service Commission had in attendance, the Honourable Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Adebo Ogundoyin represented by Hon Opeyemi Modiu Akande, Hon member representing Ibadan South East Local Government constituency, , Hon Waheed Kola Akintayo, Chairman House Committee Information and Public Enlightenment, Special Adviser to the Governor on Establishment and Training ,Alhaji Siju Lawal, Chairman , Primary Health Care Board, Hon Biodun Dada Awoleye.

    Others are Permanent Secretary, Local Government Service Commission, Deacon Adewale Taiwo, Director of Finance and Administration Bureau of Statistics, Office of the Governor , Mrs Peju Adedeji ,ICAN President , Ibadan District ,Alhaji Kilani Babatunde, ICAN former president Alhaji Ayuba Quadri, Alh Tam oil & Gas, Alhaji Rasaq Olubode and entire members of staff of the Board.
