Makinde Is The Exemplar of Transformational Leadership & Good Governance- Toyin Balogun Hails Oyo Gov on Fifth Anniversary
The Oyo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Hon Toyin Balogun has joined all lovers of good Governance home and abroad to congratulate His Excellency , Governor Seyi Makinde on the first year anniversary of his second rodeo in office which also marks his fifth continuous year at the helm of affairs in the state.
This was contained in a statement signed by Hon Toyin Balogun, which was made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Thursday. It reads:
“Hearty congratulations to a transformational leader,an exemplar of good governance,a, compass & pathfinder to youthful upcoming leaders,an icon of good governance,a positive role model and an inspiration to many on the celebration of your fifth anniversary at the helm of affairs in the state Your Excellency ”
The Hon Commissioner said Makinde’s administration in the last five years has been marked by visionary ,transformational,motivational leadership,one which drives and motivates those of us who work closely with him to also strive to do our best for our people at our various beats/ministries
“When you have a leader who is driven,self motivated and committed to inconveniencing himself to improve the quality of lives lived by his people,people, have no excuse but to devolve your best effort to deliver on the mandate
handed to you
“There is virtually no sector his multi sectoral approach has not impacted positively on,spanning the gamut from security to agriculture to energy to infrastructure to social welfare for vulnerable groups etc delivering massive development and improvements in the welfare of all citizens of the state
“Your prompt payment of salaries and pensions and periodic promotions of workers as and when due, recruitment of more workers in places where there are identified deficits is a testament to your sterling leadership qualities.”
She further expressed optimism and confidence that the remainder of the Governor’s tenure would be replete with landmark achievements for the benefit of all,most especially the vulnerable demographics of the state viz Women,Children,the Elderly and the differently abled
