Makinde Constitutes Steering Committee To Oversee Appointments Into Agencies, Others (Full list)

In his bid to ensure that no zone is marginalized in the scheme of things in the present administration, Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has  constituted 11-man steering committee that will oversee the appointments of people into boards, agencies among  others in the Pacesetter State.

Goalpoacher News reliably that Governor Seyi Makinde upon his return from an event held in Lagos on Tuesday, summoned members of the steering committee to a meeting at his political residence in Ibadan.

TodaySplash reports that the 11-man committee is expected to coordinate the appointment of members into state boards, agencies and other positions.

Goalpoacher News reliably gathered that the Chief of Staff, Segun Ogunwuyi will be representing the Governor while the PDP chairman and Secretary, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro and Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke will be representing the interest of the party.

Members of the committee were nominated from each of the Seven (7) Geo-political zones in the State namely; Ibadan main city, Ibadan Less city, Oke-Ogun 1 and 2, Ibarapa, Ogbomoso and Oyo Zone respectively.

The Governor emphasized that the appointment of this committee is effective immediately, showcasing the urgency and importance of the matter.

Governor Makinde has shown with this move that he aims to ensure a more structured and efficient process for State appointments in Omituntun 2.0
