In a significant development for residents of Ibadan, clean and reliable water supply has returned to communities like Ita Bale, Olugbode, Alafara, and Ojaagbo, thanks to the concerted efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde and the Chairman of the Oyo State Water Corporation, Hon. Elias Adeojo. This achievement comes after the Asejire Water Plant resumed full operations following the resolution of issues that had previously disrupted water distribution.

Hon. Elias Adeojo, during an interview with Goal Poacher News, confirmed that water is now being distributed efficiently to critical areas, including the Agodi Water Reservoir, which feeds into urban centers across the capital city. The restoration of water supply is particularly welcome news for residents of Ita Bale, Olugbode, Alafara, and Ojaagbo, who had faced challenges due to the temporary disruption.

“The resumption of operations at the Asejire Water Plant is a significant milestone, and we are pleased to see water flowing again in these communities,” Hon. Adeojo said. He emphasized that the restoration of water supply was made possible by Governor Makinde’s commitment to making pipe-borne water a top priority of his administration.

Hon. Adeojo praised the resilience and patience of residents during the period of interruption and reiterated the Oyo State Water Corporation’s dedication to providing uninterrupted access to clean and potable water. “We apologize for the inconvenience caused and are committed to ensuring that the water supply remains consistent and reliable in the future,” he assured.

Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration has been lauded for its vision and leadership in tackling the long-standing issue of water scarcity in Oyo State. The Governor’s focus on improving public utilities has significantly impacted the lives of many, particularly in ensuring that essential services like water supply are accessible to all.

With the Asejire Water Plant now fully operational, and pipe-borne water flowing steadily in communities like Ita Bale, Olugbode, Alafara, and Ojaagbo, the people of Ibadan can look forward to a future where consistent access to clean water is the norm rather than the exception. This success is a testament to the transformative leadership of Governor Makinde and the proactive approach of Hon. Elias Adeojo in turning the Oyo State Water Corporation into an institution that truly serves the people.
