Oyo state Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde on Monday revealed that investors confidence in the state is clearly improving as the state Internally generated revenue keeps increasing.
Makinde who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Olubamiwo Adeosun during the foundational stone laying and groundbreaking ceremony of Bodija Premium Estate, held in Ibadan this Wednesday.
The Governor noted that the project will reduce housing deficit on the part of the residents.
Makinde however said that there will be an upsurge in the internally generated revenue from the land premium, through statutory charges.
In his remark, the chairman Oyo state housing corporation, Barrister Bayo Lawal appreciated governor seyi makinde for the arrangement of public private partnership which has provided opportunity for people of the state to access housing units in large number.
The project is expected to be completed within 18 months and the total investment of the project is valued at about 1.5 billion naira.
