Governor Seyi Makinde has received widespread acclaim for spearheading the renovation of 36 public primary and secondary schools across Oyo State, a bold initiative aimed at revitalising ageing infrastructure and creating a conducive learning environment for pupils and students.

The project spans the state’s five geo-political zones — Ibadan, Oyo, Ogbomoso, Oke-Ogun, and Ibarapa, and is part of the government’s ongoing effort to rehabilitate public schools and ensure quality education for every child.

Education stakeholders have praised Governor Makinde for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to improving the state’s education sector.

Leading the array of stakeholders praising the governor, the Special Adviser on Education Intervention, Oloye Suraj Abiodun Tiamy, described the governor as “a true champion of education whose vision and commitment are transforming the public school system in Oyo State.”
