    Makinde’s Ally, Dare Adeleke Hosts Strategic Meeting of Party Leaders in Ibadan Southeast Ahead of LGA Elections

    Oyo PDP chieftain and Special Adviser to the Oyo State Governor on Federal Constituency Matters, Hon. Dare Adeleke has held a strategic stakeholders meeting ahead of the next Local Government elections, to drum support and forge modalities for the party to win the election.

    The meeting which attracted Party leaders, interested persons and other members of the PDP, Ibadan South East LGA Chapter was converged and hosted by Adeleke at his Aare Avenue, Oluyole Estate, residence in Ibadan.

    In his welcome address, the former Oyo Pacesetters Transport boss, appealed to members to work for the party in the forthcoming local government elections stressing unequivocally, that Emmanuel Alawode and 12 councillorship candidates must win: “We are voting for PDP, as supported by the leader of the party and our governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde.”

    Adeleke also personally drummed support for Emmanuel Alawode as the bonafide candidate of the party.

    Hon. Abass Adigun,
    Member representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, who co-hosted the meeting, urged members to refrain from anti-party activities while affirming his support for the party’s candidates.

    He urged members not to relent on their oars and to follow existing precedence of winning. Agboworin praised Governor Makinde for the gigantic role he played in his re-election stating that he would continue with his youth empowerment programmes as well as accommodating the elderly in the constituency in his projects:

    “I am happy to be here with you today in this meeting, which is aimed at focusing on how to deliver the candidate of the PDP on the forthcoming local government election in the state. I don’t want us to dwell on the internal crisis we have been battling but believe we can achieve a lot in unity.

    doing for the youths and, going forward, I will ensure our elderly ones including men and women are given the same opportunity to benefit from.”

    Also at the Adeleke stakeholders meeting, was Mogaji Olasunkanmi Tegbe. Mogaji Tegbe praised the leadership quality of the party’s indefatigable leader, Engr Seyi Makinde.

    He also appealed to members of the party to support the PDP candidate in the forthcoming local government  elections.

    The convener of the meeting, Hon. Dare Adeleke, thanked Governor Makinde for his massive support for Alawode and the councillors.

    He commended Hon. Agboworin for being a major pillar of support for the party in the local government.

    Adeleke lauded party members for their love and dedication to the PDP, appealing to them to work to ensure the party recorded a landslide victory in the local government election.

    The leaders in attendance were, Hon. Dare Adeleke, Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, Mogaji Olasunkanmi Tegbe, Alhaji Ajibade, member of Advisory committee to the Gov. Hon Yaya Akinbile and Hon Abiodun Adedoja Ekolo, to mention a few.
