Makinde’s ex-aides That Are Yet to Be Reappointed As Oyo Gov Promises More Appointments in Few Days (See List)

…As Gov Confirms Goal Poacher News Publication of February on Appointments

Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has promised to appoint more aides in the coming days.

Makinde stated this on Saturday at an empowerment Programme in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

It would be recalled that Goalpoacher News had in late February 2024 published a news that Governor Seyi Makinde would soon appoint more aides into some agencies and personal aides as soon as he returns to the country from his trip.

Some didn’t believe thinking the Governor had completed his appointments as the publisher received several calls and messages to substantiate the authenticity of the news since the Governor never said such.

Today, 23rd March, Governor confirmed the news earlier published by this medium as he announced that more aides would be appointed.

Below is the list of former aides  who brought success to Omituntun 1.0 which birthed Omituntun 2.0.

1) Hon Adeniyi John Farinto

Barrister Farinto and Governor Seyi Makinde understand each other. So, I won’t say anything. Their friendship like a striker and supporting striker.

2) Mogaji Akin Fagbemi PhD

Dr Akin Fagbemi was the Executive Chairman of Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYRTMA).

There were three aides that Governor Seyi Makinde eulogized in the public for their outstanding performances and contributions in Omituntun 1.0, they are ex-OYSIPA DG, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi who later became the Chief of Staff in 2021 till date.

Former Chairman Oyo State Housing Corporation, Bayo Lawal who became Makinde’s running mate and Deputy Governor in 2022 till date.

The third person, Oba Titi (king of the road), Mogaji Akin Fagbemi. Fagbemi’s sterling contributions to Makinde’s government especially how he repositioned OYRTMA prompted the Governor to publicly commend him. Little wonder OYRTMA won the best agency in 2022 at the Civil Service Productivity Year award. The award was presented by the Governor to Fagbemi and his team.

What is certain is that if Fagbemi is given any position, be rest assured he will always deliver.
